15th Annual Mother Road Rally "Let The Ride Begin !!!" Day 2





Day 2 was Sunday. The skies were bright blue and clear. Several of the
riders decided to polish their rides ...












... In time to head to breakfast at Bourbeuse Valley Harley Davidson for....









...breakfast where Michelle had laid out a great breakfast. It had all the healthy foods we should have for breakfast as well as those choices that we know we shouldn't have.





The whole group was able to have breakfast as well as shop for any travel needs they my want or need.













We followed George our fearless leader












and his trusted sidekick Tony...












into Missouri














We passed by Missouri Hicks bar-b-q
where....













The mural was improved ....















with the help of Tony !!!











We left Al West alone...










and paid our respects to the six WWII GOLD STAR BOYS who gave their lives to protect the freedom we enjoy.












A few more murals were admired as we...












...rode through Cuba,













We stopped at the worlds largest rocker.














Here we started to notice the formation of different gangs. Here we have the "Young Harley's"











This crew is Jerry's Golden Oldies Boys
















Don't make the mistake of thinking that this father and his sons are a gang. They have charitable intentions.






This Band of Brothers have served our country with honor.














Some times the Murals seem to match some of our riders exactly.

























Who knew they could see Stone Henge in Missouri ?









The bridge after Devil's Elbow needs to be treated with care or you might end up swimming.














We entered Kansas with a roar and as we crossed the bridge and decided to visit our friend....

When the all we wanted to do was visit the Coleman Theater.

Day one opened with rain showers predicted but we saw very little rain
YEA !!!













Let the ride begin. George leads the pack to downtown Chicago.

We had an incredible ride across this old bridge. While it is not open to cars or motorcycles. They let us ride across this year.
